(BINGHAMTON, NY) Broome County Executive Jason Garnar and Sue Brown, Highway Commissioner, released the following highway work planned for the week beginning July 30:
· Brush & tree cutting will continue.
· Division will be striping County and Town roadways with paint truck.
· Our mow crew will continue mowing the Right of Way along County Roadway system.
· Guiderail repair will continue along Broome County roadways.
· Repairs of catch basins throughout the County will continue.
· The Division will perform grader patching Oquaga Lake Road, Old Route 17, Trim St. and Park Avenue.
· Ditching will be performed on Page Brook, Shaw, Hardy, Loughlin and River (Deposit) Roads
· The Division will be changing several cross-road culverts on Pierce Creek and Beartown Road.
· The division will continue paving project on Taft Avenue paving is planned to begin 7/31 and should be completed 8/1 weather permitting
